Choosing it is one of the main safety decisions you make before a run.Read What is AI slop in code?Code that runs but carries the tells of being generated without care. It passes review because it looks tidy, and it makes the codebase harder to live with.Read What is a coding agent sandbox? An isolated environment, usually a container or virtual machine, where an agent can read, edit and run code without touching your own computer.Read What is a sandbox copy?A copy of a folder from your computer, placed on an isolated machine, where an agent can work freely. The original stays untouched until you bring the changes back.Read Checkpoints and undo for AI coding agentsA checkpoint is a saved state of your code before an agent acts, so you can go back to it. How much an undo restores depends on what the checkpoint recorded.Read
