Flavors, per project
A flavor sets up the desktop for one kind of work: its panels, its start screen and the tools its agents get. Code, Writing, Website, Math and CAD each have their own, and their own macaron in its own hat. Each project now picks the flavor that fits it, a website gets Website, and you can switch, mix two, or bake your own in the macaron maker.
The Brain
Index a project and search its code by meaning. Agents in Claude Code and Codex chats can search it too, and remember what they learn so the next one starts ahead. Code is sent to macaron.sh to be embedded and isn't kept; the index stays on your computer.
Review
The images and renders your agents make, side by side in one view, with notes you can send back to the thread that made them.
Threads by project
The sidebar switches between your recent threads and the same threads grouped by project.
Writing, on your Mac
The Writing flavor can rewrite a draft with a model that runs on your own Mac, after one download. Nothing you write leaves the computer. Macs with Apple silicon.

- Dev servers running on a cloud computer show up in the sidebar and open on the same port on your Mac.
- A Macaron cloud computer can be opened from the Claude and ChatGPT desktop apps.
- Windows gets the same release as the Mac, with automatic updates.
