Add your first app

Create an app or website workspace, add a real report, and follow its progress into a reviewed fix.

Before you begin

Sign in to Macaron in your browser. Have your product name and platform ready. A repository and model key are optional when adding the app; you need them when you prepare a coding run.

Choose a type

From Apps, select Add app. Choose App for native iOS, Expo, React Native, Android or another application. Choose Website for a web SaaS or site. The next step shows the fields for that choice.

Enter the details

Give the product a name. Websites require a complete https:// URL. Mobile apps can optionally include a website or App Store URL. Add a repository as owner/repo or a complete HTTPS repository URL, then continue to review. When you first open a website workspace, Macaron reads its public page and saves an inspection. No private credentials are sent to the website.

Create and verify

Review the details and press Create app. The saved app page shows website inspection results and connection status. Native apps show their installation path. Open it again from Apps to confirm the record persists. Creation does not start a model, provision a machine or connect customer messaging.

Understand the connections

A saved URL is not a live integration. The app page separately shows public page checks, customer chat settings, repository details and stored conversations and reports. Traffic, revenue and private customer data are not imported from a URL.

Take the next step

Choose New report from the app page. Its name, platform and repository are attached automatically. Write the issue and save it before preparing a run.
